Last month I hosted my very own Skincare Workshop thanks to London based acupuncturist Laurie Glenn.
Laurie got in touch to tell me she was starting up a series of wellbeing seminars and invited me to host the first one on natural skincare. I brought along some of my favourite clays, floral waters, nourishing oils and fresh ingredients to the workshop and everyone had lots of fun learning about the benefits of each ingredient before making their own face masks to take home.
If you know me well you will know that I love all things natural remedies and natural skincare! I live with a skin condition called rosacea which has massively shaped the way I think about my dietary and skincare habits over the years. With a background working in the cosmetics industry alongside this, I have developed nothing short of an obsession for wellbeing and how the skin works. I find it amazing what nature’s very own ingredients can do for the health of our skin and I was more than happy to host a workshop dedicated to this very subject using my experience and knowledge…
Thought I’d share some photos from the workshop on here. Take a peek below! We spent a lovely couple of hours on a rainy Sunday sipping herbal tea and discussing the benefits of natural clays, essential oils, floral waters and more. We also practiced some simple facial massage techniques on ourselves and got stuck in making (and wearing!) our very own bespoke natural face masks. I had a blast. Thank you to everyone who came. Keep your eyes peeled for more workshops in the future! Feel free to get in touch if you would like to learn more about attending a workshop.
